What Is The North American Union?

What Is The North American Union?

from JBS

The phrase “North American Union” conjures the image of the European Union, truly the prototype for what our elites have planned. One of the first orders of business will be a borderless North America. According to “Building a North American Community” (a Council on Foreign Relations task force report available here), the playbook for the construction of the North American Union, “Canada and the United States should consider eliminating restrictions on labor mobility altogether and work toward solutions that, in the long run, could enable the extension of full labor mobility to Mexico as well.” Full labor mobility throughout North America would mean no borders between the United States, Mexico, and Canada, spelling the end of our nation’s independence.

Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss poll: please educate the Senator

Posted by D.A. King at 12:08 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Georgia Senator Chambliss has a poll on his Website asking the question:

“Of the following issues, which do you think is most urgent in Georgia”?

Crime/Meth

Illegal immigration

Education

Health care

Economic development

Umm…someone please convince me that crime, education, and health care are not severely and negatively impacted by illegal immigration in Georgia! Georgia suffered the largest rate of increase of illegal alien populations in the entire nation 2000-2005 – next closest state? Arizona, with a 45% increase.

I hope that you will take the time to make one click on Senator Chambliss’ poll…apparently his office is not convinced of the urgency of the illegal immigration crisis in Georgia. Educate them …please.

Click here to answer Senator Chambliss’ poll.
Thanks…

Not-So-Strange Bedfellows [Mark Krikorian]

Not to be outdone by Arlen Specter, Lindsey Graham has become the latest pro-amnesty Republican senator to be feted by a left-wing, post-American racial identity group; he will be honored by the National Council of La Raza at a gala next month. More on La Raza here. Maybe I should start a pool to see who will be the next pro-amnesty Republican senator to accept an award from leftist open-borders advocates — maybe John McCain and Soros’s Open Society Institute? Mel Martinez and the Southern Poverty Law Center? Or maybe Sam Brownback and the National Lawyers Guild? Such bipartisanship!

Hillary: Bush is right on illegal immigration – make ’em all legal…again!

The New York Sun on Hillary Rodham Clinton and amnesty-again.

Senator Clinton Aligns With Bush on Immigration
By RUSSELL BERMAN
Staff Reporter of the Sun
February 21, 2007

MIAMI — As Senator Clinton prepares to face off with many of her Democratic rivals today, she aligned herself directly with President Bush on the issue of immigration, using a campaign stop in South Florida to highlight a rare point of agreement with an administration that she criticizes at every turn.

Speaking to about 300 community leaders in an area with a large immigrant population, Mrs. Clinton staked out a centrist position on the hot-button topic, saying she supported a “pathway to legalization” for the nation’s 11 million to 12 million estimated undocumented immigrants, but only if they waited in line and paid fines. She described her stance as “basically” what the president has proposed.

“I think, on this issue, the president is right,” Mrs. Clinton said.

Mexico to lobby for amnesty-again!

Posted by D.A. King at 1:34 am - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Umm…please pay no attention to the fact that Mexico is playing a larger role in our president’s border security, immigration, employment and law enforcement policy than his oath of office, the constitution, existing law and the American people’s outrage.

Because the press isn’t.

The media is however noting that Mexico is lobbying for a reapeat of the failed amnesty of 1986…now called “Comprehensive Reform”.

This from the Associated Press:

Mexico to lobby for immigration reform

By JULIE WATSON Associated Press Writer

MEXICO CITY — Mexico plans to begin an aggressive lobbying effort in the United States to secure an immigration reform agreement, the country’s new ambassador in Washington said Tuesday.

Mexican consulates in the United States will talk with state and federal lawmakers, business chambers, civic organizations and “all actors of U.S. society” who support comprehensive immigration reform, Arturo Sarukhan said.

“There are few matters so important to the future of this country,” Sarukhan told reporters in Mexico City before departing for Washington.

The ambassador said Mexico has a brief window to convince Washington to approve immigration reforms before campaigning begins for the 2008 U.S. presidential election.

We are going to put into place the same kind of diplomatic and lobbying effort that we did in the early 1990s when NAFTA was being decided,” said Sarukhan, referring to the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Mexico wants Washington to usher in reforms to create a guest worker program, provide a legal path for millions of Mexicans living in the United States and allow for the reunification of families split by immigration laws.

President Bush supports giving Mexican migrants temporary work visas he has failed to win support in Congress.

Note from D.A. – This is absolute nonsense. There is nothing “temporary” about the visas tha president is pushing for…they all lead to a permanent jackpot path to citizenship for the illegals aliens …not to mention amnesty for the illegal employers. More from the AP article here….
