Recieved 28 October 2019

Dear Mr. King:

Thank you for taking the time to contact me regarding the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2019 (S. 386). I always appreciate the opportunity to hear from my fellow Georgians.

I believe that the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants is a step in the right direction, because it prioritizes merit-based immigration reform. I have been committed to merit-based immigration reform during my time in the Senate, because it can help alleviate worker shortages that impact a multitude of businesses.

Like you, I understand the impact that our broken immigration system can have on everyday Americans and their businesses. I have worked with Senator Mike Lee and the rest of my Senate colleagues to ensure that this common-sense legislation strengthens Georgia’s economy and our country as a whole.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact me with your concerns. Your thoughts are important to me, and I will keep them in mind moving forward.

Kindest regards,

David Perdue
United States Senator

More illegal aliens to get drivers licenses in Georgia? We get mail from a South Georgia farmer: Watch out for Bryan Tolar and the Ag lobby in Forsyth tomorrow!

Posted by D.A. King at 7:37 am - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

The below email (on the bottom) was received here this morning. We have added some links to educate the reader. We hope several people in the Forsyth (Middle Georgia, near Macon -not Forsyth County) area can attend , take notes and video and report back what was said.

–> The meeting notice says is at 10:00 AM and located at the Georgia Forestry Association, 551 N Frontage Rd, Forsyth, GA 31029

Georgia Ag lobbyist Bryan Tolar. Image: Southeastagnet.com

Ag lobbyist Bryan Tolar is an “anything for a buck” sort of political fellow. He is so courageous that he has me blocked on Twitter. More on pro-amnesty lobbyist Bryan Tolar here and here.

We see that a Resolution passed the Republican-ruled state senate in April just before the end of the last session that creates a “study committee” aimed at increasing the number of workers for the Ag industry. From experience, I can tell you that if they think they can get away with it, they will recommend even more illegal aliens get drivers licenses – like in California – so the growers can increase their profits. Illegal aliens with Obama’s illegal DACA amnesty and other illegal already get Georgia drivers licenses. About 22,000 of them. See also here.

Here is info on the study committee and membership. It is filled with the usual suspects who push for amnesty for illegal aliens and mo’ money.

I hope yÂ’all have someone planning to attend the senate ag and landscaping labor study committee in Forsyth on Thursday. Senator John Wilkerson and his landscaping lobbyist friend Brian Tolar are In thick with the folks at urban ag Council that want illegal immigrants to have drivers licenses. The landscapers want illegals to be able to drive Commercial trucks so they can keep taking American jobs. Please stop them

Response #1 – ADL/JerryGonzalez/GALEO smear of October, 2019 (Don’t let him speak at Gwinnett County GOP breakfast!)

Answering the smears: Response #1

“The Anti-Defamation League is a joke.

Once a respected civil rights organization dedicated to fighting extremism and hate against Jews, the ADL lies in bed with violent antifa extremists and perpetuates hate against political opponents. The “progressive” group is now a brazenly partisan character assassination outfit headed by Jonathan Greenblatt, a Clinton/Obama operative and former George Soros-funded operative, whose contempt for President Donald Trump trumps all.

The ADL also partners with the corporate cheap labor lobby funded by Trump-hating billionaire Republican Charles Koch to stifle patriotic critics of open borders.”

“Mexican mob that brings with it a culture of lawlessness and chaos.”  Response #1

From a July 2004 column on the now defunct news outlet, MichNews.com, that was clearly focused on the crime of illegal border crossings, I wrote about my own frustration with the fact that San Diego-area Border Patrol Agents had been told to stand down and ease up on apprehensions of the illegal border crossers.

“From the North County [California] Times: “Frustration is growing at the Temecula Border Patrol station, following a management decision to cut back on illegal immigrant sweeps, an official with the union representing Border Patrol agents said Tuesday.

“Station management told them to stand down, to stop their operations,” said Ron Zermeno, shop steward for the National Border Patrol Council at the Temecula station.

“We don’t know which way to turn —- for once, we were doing our job, what the government pays us to do.”

GALEO’s Jerry Gonzalez – photo, DIS

In the same write-up I noted that the San Diego Tribune had reported that the illegals were demanding that enforcement be halted in their neighborhoods – “migra free barrios!” – much the same cry echoed now by media darling Stacey Abrams’ New Georgia Project.

“From the San Diego Union Tribune: “Waving signs with slogans like “Migra-Free Barrios,” several dozen community activists and protesters gathered in Chicano Park near downtown San Diego yesterday to protest a rash of recent Border Patrol searches for undocumented immigrants…More than 400 undocumented immigrants have been arrested by Border Patrol agents working as a “mobile patrol group” out of the Temecula Border Patrol station, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.”

Swimming in hate and dishonesty and with the protection of the liberal media, in their latest ridiculous smear the ADL and GALEO made sure there was no link to that piece, but cited part of one sentence.

Image: Liberation News

This was a period in which countless rallies by the un-captured illegal aliens were staged all over the U.S – including here in Atlanta. I watched many of them close up. There were none then that didn’t feature the flag of Mexico and angry, street-screaming illegals telling us they would not obey our laws. Most illegal immigration at the time came from Mexico.

I saw GALEO’s Jerry Gonzalez attend many of these same street screamer rallies.

The ADL and Jerry Gonzalez hope no one will actually check their race-hustling smears or care that they use partial sentences to misrepresent what was said or written. With the AJC’s Jim Galloway, they have the hack they needed to spread the smears.

What I actually wrote in the 2004 column about illegal immigration and San Diego the ADL and GALEO almost cite was:

“It is clear that when the mostly Mexican mob illegally “migrates” into our nation, it brings with it the culture of lawlessness and chaos that is responsible for the very conditions that they flee in the rapidly deteriorating example of Democracy without the rule of law that is Mexico.”

I think that has aged very well. I stand by it. For people who disagree, we point to 2019’s Los Angeles and California. And Gwinnett County, Georgia where the estimate is that about 8% of the population is made up of illegal aliens.

The ADL/GALEO crew also don’t seem to like it that I have written about the U.S. being invaded and colonized by illegal aliens, who are now their stock-in-trade and potential political base. I stand by that as well and note that the anti-enforcement Georgia Budget and Policy institute tells us that 21st century Georgia is now home to more illegal aliens than green card holders. Invaded. Colonized.

Georgia Groups Deeply Disturbed by Gwinnett County GOP Hosting Anti-Immigrant Speaker at Monthly Meeting

Atlanta, Georgia, October 3, 2019… The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO) strongly condemn Gwinnett County GOP’s speaking invitation to D.A. King, someone who vocally supports and spews irrational hatred against immigrants, as the keynote speaker for their upcoming meeting. A nationally known figure who proudly touts racist and anti-Hispanic views, D.A. King has a long history of using words of hatred.

There are many examples of his problematic, racist language. In 2007 when speaking at a Newton County (Georgia) Republican Party meeting, Mr. King reportedly suggested that undocumented immigrants are “not here to mow your lawn – they’re here to blow up your buildings and kill your children, and you, and me.”  Mr. King has also asserted that the United States is “being invaded and colonized” by a “Mexican mob that brings with it a culture of lawlessness and chaos.” He has described Hispanic immigration in Georgia as the “Hispandering” of his state, which he calls “Georgiafornia.”

D.A. King’s support for anti-immigrant measures is well documented and has tied him to extreme elements of the anti-immigrant movement.  For instance, he has been a contributor to the racist website VDARE and The Social Contract, an anti-immigrant journal published and edited by racists.

More recently, Mr. King was the stand in speaker for Gwinnett County Sheriff Butch Conway at a Town Hall Meeting put together by Gwinnett County Commissioner Marlene Fosque in July 2019.  His presence at the event that night not only displayed hypocrisy on behalf of a Gwinnett County government official, through the actions of Sherriff Butch Conway, but also shed further light on the anti-immigrant sentiment felt by many in Gwinnett County.

The stage provided to Mr. King in July is no different than the stage set for him this Saturday. The invitation from the GOP forces us to revisit the question: does King’s invitation as the featured speaker at a GOP meeting validate and normalize problematic anti-immigrant sentiment in Gwinnett County? Yes, it does.

While everyone is permitted to decide who they want to invite over for breakfast, we would expect that members of the Gwinnett County GOP would choose a better guest to host. We can only hope that the invitation for breakfast is not an indicator of what is to come from the Gwinnett County GOP and that the opportunity to make Georgia a safe space for all is still on the menu.

Letter to the editor published in the Dalton Daily Citizen and News

October 8, 2019

Dear editor,

I wrote to you in July to criticize Rep. Tom Graves‘ yes vote on House Bill 1044, the “Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act.” H1044 eliminates the per-country caps on employment-based green cards, allowing India and China to dominate our guest worker system with 600,000 H1B visa holders every year for the next decade. The billionaires in Silicon Valley have long advocated for such an expansion, as they use those visa holders to lower the wages of American citizens who are computer programmers and software engineers. But all STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) career tracks would be flooded with low-wage foreign workers seeking to displace Americans.

As I write, Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, has twice introduced the Senate version, S386, and asked for a unanimous consent vote. Lee is attempting to force it through without a single hearing. He and Sen. Kamala Harris, D-California (the bill’s co-sponsor), do not want to provide a public hearing of the many ways this bill would devastate the job prospects of American STEM-trained students, or to uncover the rampant discrimination against middle-aged Americans forced to train their own replacements.

Sen. David Perdue, R-Georgia, was the lone objection to voice vote passage, but he has pulled his objection amid massive lobbying for the measure by big tech.

Sen. Perdue’s role in allowing S386 to proceed without hearings is a bitter disappointment to Georgia families struggling to pay tuition bills in-state for a STEM degree.

I started following this legislation as the mother of an engineering student currently in his junior year and the wife of a software sales professional. As I’ve researched the whole bill, it has become clear to me that big tech intends to pass more laws that hollow out our middle class much like illegal immigration has taken away jobs from our lower-class, low-skilled neighbors and family. All while they hide conservative voices on social media platforms and censor websites as we look for alternatives to the approved corporate media messages.

I urge Sen. Perdue to reconsider his support of this bill so American citizens will be taken care of first. And I urge my neighbors to speak out.

Denise Burns
