From Human Events online:

Religious Terrorism Strikes Chapel Hill

Just before high noon, Mohammed Reza Taheriazar, 22, bulldozed the center of UNC’s main campus with a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee — the biggest SUV he could find — in order to retaliate against treatment of Muslims around the world, he said. Taheriazar, a recent graduate, sent six to the hospital with injuries and hit three others in what is not only a tragedy for the Chapel Hill community but an sad example of an ideological difference digressing into violent conflict.

Islamic crazies will never figure out that they have only to walk into our nation from Mexico.

Right?

A poll that slipped out…Americans are against illegal immigration!

Posted by D.A. King at 4:54 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

We are not certain how this slipped past the editors, but…

A poll reported in that bastion of right-wing extremism in New York, Newsday reported that:

“With debate over immigration heating up in Washington, a Quinnipiac University poll released Friday found that 83 percent of immigrants or their children and grandchildren believe illegal immigration is a “very serious” or “somewhat serious” problem…The poll found that 39 percent of voters want to reduce the current level of legal immigration, 24 percent want to increase it, and 33 percent want to maintain it. The poll also found that:

By 62 percent to 32 percent, voters oppose making it easier for undocumented immigrants to become citizens.

By 84 percent to 14 percent, they favor requiring proof of legal residency to obtain government benefits.

Some 50 percent approve of the automatic U.S. citizenship granted to children of undocumented immigrants born in the United States, with 42 percent in favor of eliminating it.

The poll also found that 88 percent of all poll respondents share the same opinion. And it said that by 72 percent to 25 percent, U.S. voters oppose giving undocumented immigrants driver’s licenses.

The poll was conducted Feb. 21 to 28, surveyed 1,892 registered voters nationwide. The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.3 percentage points.

Read all about it here.

Maybe we should all share this with our Georgia elected officials before we go any further down the road to “Georgiafornia”.

I hope to see a lot of Americans on the steps of the Georgia Capitol for our rally March 18, NOON.

The border is an impediment to trade

Having been to the Arizona border several times and seen the result of the federal government’s refusal to secure that border, I know people who are forced to deal with the consequences every day.

This from CNN:

U.S. agents: Mexican gangs terrorize border

The Border Patrol has intercepted more than 400,000 illegal immigrants trying to cross the border in the first two months of this year, compared with around 100,000 a month — 1.2 million — last year. About 10 percent of those caught had criminal records.

Larry Dever, sheriff of Arizona’s Cochise County, said Mexican smugglers now came armed with high capacity assault weapons and orders to protect their cargoes at all costs.

But don’t worry…allowing illegal immigration into Georgia will never have the same consequences here.

Right?

‘Immigration enforcement director’ for Georgia?

Posted by D.A. King at 11:20 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Georgia Senator Casey Cagle has proposed the creation of an office of ‘immigration enforcement director’ for our state.

From the Atlanta Business Chronicle:

Cagle’s measure would create the new immigration enforcement director position within the state Office of Homeland Security. The director’s primary function would be to familiarize employers and state agencies with SB 529’s changes to immigration law, Cagle said; actual enforcement would be left to the state revenue and labor departments.

Great idea, we think, if the proposed legislation would actually help in seeing that the law was enforced.

CNN PRESENTS one-hour documentary on illegal immigration in Georgia to re-air March 4 & 5

Posted by D.A. King at 3:31 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

D.A. King, Jimmy Hercheck and John Dillard of the Dillard House restaurant in Dillard Georgia, along with assorted illegal aliens from Mexico, were featured in an October 2004 CNN PRESENTS one-hour documentary focused on the illegal immigration crisis in Georgia.

Immigrant Nation- Divided Country
Are illegal workers stealing jobs and destroying the fabric of American society? Or are they energizing the U.S. economy and keeping the American dream alive? CNN Correspondent Maria Hinojosa, a Mexican-American herself, goes inside the lives of four families on the front lines of the growing debate over illegal immigration.

Airs: March 4 and 5 at 8 p.m., 11 p.m. ET Correspondent: Maria Hinojosa.

That documentary will re-air this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, March 4&5 twice each night at 8PM [eastern] and 11PM [ eastern].

D.A. and Jimmy Hercheck took a very different stand on illegal immigration, illegal alien employment, accepting known fradulent Social Security numbers, living wages and respect for the rule of law than did Dillard House owner John Dillard, who boasts on camera that he employs illegal aliens.

Dillard can be contacted here. Immigration and Customs Enforcement can be contacted by calling 770 994 4200…if you want to report the criminal activity that you will see on the 2004 tape.

Social Security fraud can be reported here.

We urge you to watch the documentary and decide for your self if Georgia is better off because of the fact that we are home to one of the largest and fastest growing populations of illegal aliens in the nation.

Bonus good news from D.A. The character “Rosa” who you will see in the documentary has been deported back to her home country of Mexico. Repeat..Rosa has been repatriated.

Now, justice for John Dillard. All help welcomed.

Open border with Mexico?

Posted by D.A. King at 7:03 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Regarding those pesky borders and our nation: If anyone hasn’t “gotten it” yet, please read this from the Albany [Oregon] Democrat Herald.

This editor “gets it” – if we do away with our borders, we can do away with illegal immigration. Problem solved!

Think: “I pledge alligiance to the continent and to the commerce for which it stands”.

We have the North American Free Trade Agreement, which links the economies of the United States, Mexico and Canada. But this arrangement doesn’t seem to extend to the movement of people.

If it did, there would be no such person as an illegal alien from Mexico — or Canada — in the United States. Instead, citizens of each would be free to move from any one of the three countries to one of the others. They could live where they wanted and work wherever they were qualified to work, or where their labor was wanted and needed. In fact, Mexico already allows Americans to come in and stay indefinitely if they can support themselves.

Here for the rest from this great American patriot.

See if the above sounds like what President Bush said in August 2000 about free trade and the continent

[“… the ultimate goal will remain constant … free trade from northernmost Canada to the tip of Cape Horn”.]

Amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens anyone?
