Dear Friend,

The open borders left once again proved just how “tolerant” they are yesterday when they rioted and shut down a speech I tried to give at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Riley Matheson, a former intern at Team America, and his group Youth for Western Civilization asked me to speak on the issue of in state tuition for illegal aliens. And the so called purveyors of tolerance and diversity showed just how open minded they are when it comes to diversity of opinions.

Hundreds of protesters yelled obscenities, tried to put a banner saying “No One is Illegal” in front of me. They even broke a window. The police used mace and threatened to use tasers, but no protesters were arrested or disciplined. There is no freedom of speech on hundreds of university campuses today for people who dare to dissent from the radical political agenda of the socialist left and the open borders agitators.

Bay and I are not deterred by these radicals and we’re both going to be speaking on more campuses this week. We are also helping bring my friend Virgil Goode to UNC next week to make sure our message gets heard, and I plan to go back there again.

There’s video of the riot and links to news stories at the Team America website for more information.

We know we’re making a difference when we get the open borders crazies this upset.

Keep up the fight.

Your friend,

Tom (Tancredo)

WELCOME TO THE CLUB: You Might Be a “Radicalized Right-Wing Extremist” If… MALKIN

You Might Be a “Radicalized Right-Wing Extremist” If… by Michelle Malkin

Department of Homeland Security Sec. Janet Napolitano has turned her attention away from acts of Islamic jihad on American soil (which she now refers to as “man-caused disasters”). Instead, her department is sounding the alarm over an unquantified “resurgence” in “right-wing extremism activity.” On April 7, DHS sent a nine-page warning memo to law enforcement offices across the country titled “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.”

The report includes a sweeping definition of the threat:

“Right-wing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”

You cannot ignore the context or the timing of this DHS report. It’s no small coincidence that Napolitano’s agency disseminated the assessment just a week before the nationwide April 15 Tax Day Tea Party protests. The grassroots events organized by fiscal conservatives, independents, Libertarians and, yes, even some Blue Dog Democrats were fueled by the “current economic and political climate” of bipartisan profligate spending and endless taxpayer-funded bailouts. The growing success of the loose-knit movement has invited scorn, ridicule and fear-mongering from Obama’s supporters. Liberal bloggers have likened the Tea Party movement to neo-Nazis, militias and even Weather Underground terrorists.

These attempts to demonize the Tea Party movement come on the heels of widespread conservative-bashing over the recent shooting sprees in Pittsburgh and Binghamton, N.Y. Taking Hillary Clinton’s advice to “never waste a good crisis,” left-wing pundits and analysts have blamed the tragedies on everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Fox News to the NRA.

The DHS spokespeople I talked to on Monday insisted that the report was not a politicized document and that DHS had done similar assessments on “left-wing extremism” in the past. But past domestic terrorism reports have always been very specific in identifying security threats — such as the Animal Liberation Front and the Earth Liberation Front — and very specific in identifying their methods and targets, including repeated physical harassment, arson and vandalism against pharmaceutical companies, farms, labs and university researchers.

By contrast, the Obama DHS report is an overarching indictment of conservatives. “Right-wing extremist chatter on the Internet continues to focus on the economy, the perceived loss of U.S. jobs in the manufacturing and construction sectors, and home foreclosures,” the assessment warns. When I asked DHS spokeswoman Sara Kuban to explain who was responsible for this “extremist chatter,” she could not and would not name names.

Moreover, the report relies on the work of the left-leaning Southern Poverty Law Center to stir anxiety over “disgruntled military veterans” — a citation that gives us valuable insight into how DHS will define “hate-oriented” groups. The SPLC, you see, has designated the venerable American Legion a “hate group” for its stance on immigration enforcement. The report offers zero data, but states with an almost resentful attitude toward protected free speech: “Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment, but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent.”

“Potential to turn violent”? So did the hysterical fervor whipped up by Capitol Hill over the AIG bonuses, which prompted ugly death threats from across the country. No mention here, though. Not “right wing” enough. Nor will you see Obama DHS warnings to police and sheriff’s departments about self-proclaimed bank terrorists such as Bruce Marks of the aggressive Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America or the mob activists of ACORN who have committed burglary, stormed corporate executives’ homes and vowed to conduct “civil disobedience” by “any means necessary” in response to the “current economic and political climate.”

If you can redefine dissenting opinion as “hate,” you can brand your political opponents as “extremists” — and you can marginalize electoral threats. “Antigovernment”? “Pro-enforcement”? “Disgruntled”? Feeling taxed enough already and “recruiting” and “radicalizing” your friends and neighbors through “chatter on the Internet”?

We are all right-wing extremists now. Welcome to the club.

Impoprting Poverty: Children of illegals…and future voters

Posted by D.A. King at 4:34 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

WASHINGTON (AP) – A new report says growing numbers of children of illegal immigrants are being born in this country.

The report released today by the nonprofit Pew Hispanic Center also says those children are nearly twice as likely to live in poverty than those with American-born parents.

The study highlights a growing dilemma in the immigration debate. Illegal immigrants’ children born in the United States are U.S. citizens. However, they struggle in poverty and uncertainty along with parents who fear deportation, toil largely in low-wage jobs and face layoffs in an ailing economy.

The analysis found that the nation’s estimated 11.9 million illegal immigrants lived in the United States in 2008. Of those, 8.3 million made up 5.4% of the U.S. work force. Most are in lower-paying farming, construction or janitorial work.

Roughly three out of 4 of their children – or 4 million – were born in the United States. In 2003, 2.7 million children of illegal immigrants were born in this country.

Overall, illegal immigrants’ children account for 1 of every 15 students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

In 2008, California had the most illegal immigrants at 2.7 million, double its 1990 number, followed by Texas.

Georgia unemploment jumping 126 percent from March 2008 – WE NEED MORE ILLEGAL LABOR – AND AMNESTY! Right?

Ga. jobless rate leaps 126 percent
Marietta Daily Journal

ATLANTA – New jobless claims surged last month, jumping 126 percent from March 2008, the state Labor Department reported on Thursday.

Officials said 96,306 laid-off workers filed first-time claims for state unemployment insurance benefits in March. That suggests the state’s record-high 9.3 percent unemployment rate won’t be going down anytime soon, and could be set to move into the double digits.

Georgia’s jobless rate is above the national average of 8.5 percent.

“We’re still in a very soft job market and the short-term prospects are not looking good,” state Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said Thursday.

The metropolitan areas with the highest percentage of increase in claims were Gainesville, up 249.4 percent; Rome, up 218.4 percent; and Brunswick, up 185.0 percent.

Are you a terrorist?

You may be surprised to find that you’re on a government watch list as a potential terrorist. The federal government in partnership with state and local government agencies has created 58 ‘fusion sites’ across the United States to monitor groups that may be planning terrorist activity.

Recently, they issued a law enforcement alert to be on the lookout for certain dangerous elements in our society. Under the auspices of the Orwellian sounding “Missouri Information Analysis Center”, a report titled “The Modern Militia Movement” was issued to law enforcement agencies across the state. This report gives you an inside look at the activities of the rest of the ‘fusion sites’.
Who might those dangerous societal elements be? Lock your doors and keep your children home as I quote from their list, which incidentally was just removed from their website. You might be part of a militia, white supremacist group, or a skinhead (I suppose if you’re bald, you’re included) if you are a Ron Paul supporter. Yes, I said Ron Paul supporter. If you’re anti-abortion – you may make the list. If you’re vocal about illegal immigration, you’re in.

Law enforcement is urged to look for secret code on motorist’s vehicles, also known as bumper stickers. A bumper sticker advocating a return to Constitutional government may trigger a roadside chat with the local state police – at least in Missouri. A search of your car may be in order. Supporters of Chuck Baldwin, a recent Constitution Party candidate for president, are also considered possible terrorists.

The same government that brought you 20,000,000 illegal aliens has branded American citizens against the plan to create a union of Canada, America and Mexico as suspicious. In case you’re not aware of it, there is a government plan supported by Republicans and Democrats to create a North American Union. This would effectively end the U.S. as we know it, but you’re dangerous if you’re against the NAU.

Supporters of gun owner’s right are additional people to monitor. So all you Second Amendment supporters out there – look out. You may be on a government watch list. Anyone who simply likes to collect guns and ammo is likely on a list. Gun owners are clearly targeted in the current administration. This is part of the conditioning process the government in collusion with the mainstream mouthpiece media uses to persuade uneducated citizens to permit the abolishment of the Second Amendment.

Christians are on the list too. Your government is working hard to tie Christians to right wing extremist groups. All the government house organs (also known as major media) parrot the contrived illusion that Christians secretly want to take over the country and remove all your rights. Actually though, it’s the group pointing fingers in the MIAC report you have to watch. They’re the ones who wish to stifle liberty and justice in the U.S. Illegal searches and seizures are their privilege.

If you’d like a copy of this chilling report, please write me in care of the Herald Gazette. I’d be happy to send you one. Simply request the Missouri Information Analysis Center report, “The Modern Militia Movement”. See if you’re on their list.
