Cobb County Chamber of Commerce on staring a business in …Cobb. We don’t think that they have gotten the memo on changing reality to suit the Chairman’s agenda. Oops!

HEY, YOU GUYS! It’s “occupational tax certificate” now! – ask Cobb Chairman Sam Olens.

Mexico to honor Kennedy for defending immigrants
Associated Press

MEXICO CITY (AP) — The Mexican government says it will honor U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy for his defense of immigrant rights.

Mexico announced Friday it will award Kennedy the Aguila Azteca, the highest honor the government can bestow on foreign dignitaries.

Kennedy will be presented with a sash in Washington, according to an announcement published by Mexico’s federal registry.

Mexico says the Massachusetts Democrat has denounced injustices against migrants and “highlighted the importance of addressing illegal immigration by looking for an integral solution.”

The Massachusetts Democrat was diagnosed with brain cancer in May and has been receiving radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Tancredo: Mexican asylum — Sign of a failed state?

Mexican law enforcement officials are walking into U.S. ports of entry in increasing numbers to seek political asylum, and the flow may soon become a flood as Mexico’s battle with the drug cartels intensifies. Our first instinct is to welcome them, but there is more at stake than humanitarian sentiments…

Noncitizen voters undermine elections

Without a second thought, many of us will exercise the right to vote today. But there is emerging evidence that the integrity of elections nationwide may be compromised due to the influx of noncitizens who have registered to vote…

RALLY IN COBB COUNTY GEORGIA – WE DEMAND GOVERNMENT COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW!

Posted by D.A. King at 1:00 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Dear Dustin Inman Society supporters:
People ask me constantly what they can do to help save our nation and our rule of law…here is what: RAIN OR SHINE!

Because virtually all of the 694 local governments in the state of Georgia – including the Cobb County government – have refused or failed to comply with all of the mandates in the 2006 Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act ( see section 9 ), we are staging a rally to illustrate that fact in front of the Cobb County evening Board of Commissioners meeting in Marietta on July 22 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

We have a permit from Marietta Police to freely and peaceably assemble and will be well protected.

We will be in compliance with all laws and rules for such assemblies and will present a respectful, polite face to the public, media, the Cobb County Commissioners and the attendees to the meeting.

Cobb County Business License department has attempted to redefine the long used term “business license” and altered their Website ( which as of today in completely inoperable) by adding the term “occupational tax certificate” behind the applications for business licenses in a effort to elude compliance.

The law says that before issuing “public benefits” Georgia agencies must first require an affidavit attesting to either U.S. citizenship of lawful immigration status, then verify alien’s sworn statement of lawful status using the federal SAVE system before issuing those benefits. Commercial licenses are defined as public benefits.

I applied for and received a business license HERE in Cobb last month. None of the above happened. Cobb has sent me a letter HERE in November of 2006 saying they were using SAVE…more than six months before they were authorized to do so HERE …there is a severe credibility problem here! ( Click on all documents images to see enlarged version)

PLEASE, no matter in what county you live, come help us show our determination that the law be enforced and complied with in Cobb County as it will effect your own city and county adhering to the law!

WHEN: JULY 22, 2008 ( NEXT TUESDAY) PLEASE ARRIVE 6:15 – OUR PERMIT BEGINS AT 6:30

RAIN OR SHINE!

WHERE: 100 CHEROKEE STREET, IN FRONT OF THE COBB COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING ON MARIETTA SQUARE.
MAPQUEST DIRECTIONS AND MAP HERE

RULES: I HAVE BANNERS AND SIGNS, IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR OWN SIGNS PLEASE LIMIT THEM TO POLITE WORDING AIMED AT THE COBB GOVERNMENT…I INSIST THAT WE ARE PERCEIVED IN THE RESPECTFUL LIGHT THAT WE ARE APPROACHING THIS MATTER!

( Ideas: “COBB! – ENFORCE THE LAW ! “or “OBEY THE LAW! STOP REWARDING ILLEGAL ALIENS WITH BUSINESS LICENSES ! ” or “WE CAN SEE YOU AND WE VOTE!” or “WHAT NEXT? RE-DEFINE ‘CITIZEN?!” or “WHAT MUST OUR BORDER PATROL AGENTS THINK?” )
DO NOT BLOCK THE SIDE WALK OR DRIVEWAYS…SMILING, HAPPY CITIZENS DEMANDING THE EQUAL APPLICATION OF AMERICAN LAW IS WHAT WE ARE STRIVING TO PRESENT.

NOTICE: ANYONE WITH A DIFFERENT AGENDA or IS RUDE WILL BE REMOVED BY EITHER MYSELF OR MARIETTA POLICE AT MY REQUEST! THIS IS ABOUT THE LAW…NOTHING ELSE.

PLEASE CONTACT ME DA (AT) THEDUSTININMANSOCIETY.ORG IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE AND PLEASE COME HELP US DO THE JOB THAT IS OUR DUTY AS CITIZENS AND LAWFUL RESIDENTS OF GEORGIA!

Your children will ask you one day what you did to help save the nation.

No flags other than the American flag will be allowed.

Immigration hearings: Latinos kept silent in Gainesville
By Eugenia Miranda, Atlanta Latino of Georgia, 17 August 2006. English Language.

While republican congressional leaders across the country are portraying the immigration reform field hearings as useful for gathering various viewpoints about the issue, the hearing held in Gainesville at the U.S. courthouse on August 14 entitled, “Immigration: Economic Impact on American Workers and their Wages,” was anything but balanced.

U.S. House of Representative Charlie Norwood (R-GA), acted as the chairperson, began the hearing with a disturbing story of a three-year-old Georgia girl who was raped by an illegal immigrant, and emphasizing that the borders must be “secured” and as such sealed by 36,000 to 48,000 National Guard troops.
