Visiting our U.S. Senators' offices, April 6, 2006

Three years ago, I would have been thrilled to convince 24 people to come out for a Saturday rally againt illegal immigration.

At both Georgia Senator's Atlanta offices on April 6 - a Monday - 24 Georgia voters showed up exactly at noon to make their voices heard on our unsecured borders, illegal immigration and the pending attempt in the Senate to repeat the amnesty of twenty years ago.

The staff in both Senator Chambliss and Senator Isakson's office were very helpful and spent about 45 minutes listening to the everyday American people who suffer the consequences of our illegal immigration crisis explain their views. It seems that securing our borders and enforcing existing laws is a very popular concept.

The message of the day from all in attendence was that any guest worker amnesty would be remebered at re-election time.
