It is music to the ears of the pro-enforcement American majority that \u201cundocumented workers\u201d are \u201cselling off their cars and homes and preparing to return to their native countries.\u201d After eight years of the Obama administration\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/cis.org\/ICE-deportations-hit-10-yr-low\">fake news of \u201crecord deportations<\/a>,\u201d we see real distress in the illegal alien community. Which is exactly the purpose of President Trump\u2019s enforcement policy.<\/p>\n<p>The straw man argument that \u201cit is impossible to deport 11-20 million illegals\u201d is now meeting the reality that fear of the law results in many illegals migrating out of the U.S. on their own.<\/p>\n<p>After being appointed by President Clinton to recommend remedies for the illegal immigration crisis in the mid \u201990s, <a href=\"http:\/\/cis.org\/Kammer-Remembering-Barbara-Jordan-and-Her-Immigration-Legacy\">the late U.S. Rep. Barbara Jordan<\/a> told Congress \u201cUnless this country does a better job in curbing illegal immigration, we risk irreparably undermining our commitment to legal immigration.\u201d We have been advancing the \u2018Jordan Doctrine\u2019 from here for nearly 15 years and happily note that Donald Trump and the AJC are validating our work.<\/p>\n<p>D.A.
