Amnesty’s cost more than rule of law<\/strong><\/p>\n

“\u2026 We are as American as anyone else\u2026 but we won’t give up our language or culture.” <\/em>
\nHector Flores, president of the League of United Latin American Citizens [ LULAC]<\/a> commenting on \u2018Mexican – Americans\u2019. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think this amendment is racist\u201d ( Note from D.A – see Plan de Aztlan here<\/a>)
\nU. S. Senate minority leader Harry Reid, objecting to an amendment in the Senate last week to make English the \u201cnational language\u201d in the United States. <\/p>\n

If you ask Americans what they think the official language in the United States is, many will reply something like \u201cEnglish, of course\u201d. <\/p>\n

The United States has no official language<\/a>. It never has. <\/p>\n

It should. <\/p>\n

As the Senate debates another amnesty for illegal aliens – and their criminal employers – other issues besides that annoying rule of law are surfacing. <\/p>\n

Like language and culture. <\/p>\n

Having intimidated into silence a large number of Americans on the reality that millions of people are living and working in our nation illegally, the illegal alien lobby <\/a>is ready, willing – and with the help of leftist American \u201cjournalists\u201d – quite able to label anyone who suggests that English be the common language that binds our very diverse nation together\u2026a \u201cracist\u201d. <\/p>\n

We should all remember this: In any language, silence is consent. <\/p>\n

On the topic of illegal immigration, many oh -so- noble newspaper editors will point to the \u201clast great wave of immigration\u201d and dutifully lecture that today\u2019s illegal immigration crisis is \u201cno different than when the Polish, Irish or Italians came to our shores\u201d. <\/p>\n

We all remember when we were required to \u201cpress one\u201d to speak, Polish, Celtic or Italian on the telephone\u2026right? We all remember the resentful illegal aliens from those countries marching in the streets of America demanding amnesty, citizenship and the \u201cright\u201d to continue to change our nation into an image of the one they left\u2026right? <\/p>\n

We all remember studying in multi-lingual schools. None of us can forget the Greek language ballots of past elections\u2026right? <\/p>\n

Hector Flores <\/a>defiant words should not be forgotten. Neither should U.S. Senator Harry Reid\u2019s. <\/p>\n

While the motivation of each may be different, the harm they do to the American rule of law, culture and tradition is the same. <\/p>\n

Elected officials like Reid are simply doing what they are told by their \u201ccheap labor\u201d addicted campaign donors. Follow the money. <\/p>\n

Identity based \u201ccivil rights\u201d organizations like LULAC, The National Council of La Raza [in English? \u2013 \u201cThe Race\u201d] and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund [MALDEF] – are aimed at the ongoing creation of what University of California ethnic studies professor \u201cand immigration -rights activist\u201d Armando Navarro calls the \u201cnation within a nation as the community that we are\u201d. <\/p>\n

Note to Navarro & Co; We honor real \u201cimmigrants\u201d here, it is the illegal aliens that concern us. \u201cImmigrants\u201d do not require amnesty. They came here lawfully. <\/p>\n

English as a \u201cnational language\u201d does not fit in with the \u201cnation with in a nation\u201d agenda. <\/p>\n

Navarro is author of the book \u201cMexicano Political Experience in Occupied Aztlan<\/a>\u201d. <\/p>\n

What is Aztlan? The territory \u201cstolen\u201d from Mexico in the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo at the end of the Mexican-American War. That would include California, Texas, Arizona and New Mexico\u2026 USA. <\/p>\n

There is considerably more being decided in Congress than whether or not we capitulate and award American citizenship to who ever can steal that privilege. <\/p>\n

We are watching our elected leaders make a decision on whether we will be allowed to have borders, what it means to be an American and what manner of nation we will pass on. <\/p>\n

It is not un-American to have a \u201cnational language\u201d [not many have the courage to suggest an \u201cofficial\u201d language]. It is not \u201cracist\u201d to demand that our borders be defended and to stand up and insist that the law be equally applied \u2013 even for someone here illegally from Mexico. <\/p>\n

Mexico does have an official language. It does defend its borders\u2026with its military. It is a felony to enter Mexico or work there illegally and it deports more people annually than we do. <\/p>\n

We should be asking ourselves why we don\u2019t see angry mass demonstrations in that sovereign nation\u2026and how we allowed ourselves to get to the point that they are now familiar here. <\/p>\n

We should be asking if another amnesty would cost us more even more than our rule of law. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
