{"id":436,"date":"2006-12-10T23:11:26","date_gmt":"2006-12-11T03:11:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thedustininmansociety.com\/blog\/?p=436"},"modified":"2006-12-10T23:54:44","modified_gmt":"2006-12-11T03:54:44","slug":"personal-note-todays-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thedustininmansociety.org\/blog\/2006\/12\/10\/personal-note-todays-date\/","title":{"rendered":"Personal note: Today&#8217;s date&#8230;and  two &#8220;don&#8217;t miss&#8221; Websites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just looked at the date on today&#8217;s newspapers and realized that it was thirty-five years ago today that I left active duty in the Marine Corps&#8230; <strong>wow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedustininmansociety.org\/articles\/dak_mdj\/art_dak_mdj_2004aug05.html\">Like most Vets<\/a> &#8211; I did not serve to see President Bush <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigrationwatchdog.com\/2006\/10\/27\/borderless-continent-objective-of-alleged-union-says-coalition-spokesman\/\">eliminate our borders<\/a>, nor will I sit back and do nothing as he attempts to do exactly that.<\/p>\n<p>Which brings to mind this site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.witness-to-war.org\/content\/\">WITNESS-TO-WAR.org. <\/a>If you know any WWII Veterans, please direct them here to leave some of their memories to future generations.
