When the fringe-left attacks on immigration law – fun and adventure in reporting on the anti-enforcement mob

It has never been clearer why mainstream Americans who study immigration refer to them as “the anti-enforcement mob.” Neither has it been more comical. Don’t miss the links to information and images at the bottom!

Earlier Tuesday, the area press was treated to the latest hissy-fit press conference from Georgia’s illegal alien lobby resulting from the fact that America has immigration laws and that some illegal aliens are actually being deported. Oh my!

The subject at hand is the ICE “Secure Communities” fingerprint sharing program which is used in a growing number of local jails around the nation, including here in Cobb County. Different and separate from the federal 287(g) law, explaining the Secure Communities program is easy: Jurisdictions involved begin to share the fingerprints taken from all incoming jail prisoners with not only the FBI, but also with DHS and federal immigration authorities – ICE.

Prints belonging to illegal aliens who were previously jailed or fingerprinted for investigation of other crimes, including driving without ever having been licensed and getting caught by Border Patrol Agents while sneaking into the USA can — and sometimes are — used to begin deportation proceedings.

More than 100,000 illegal aliens have been deported under Secure Communities since its inception in 2008. Contrary to the cries from the left, nobody has ever been deported for a traffic violation. The singular reason for deportation is violation of American immigration laws. No matter from where the illegal alien comes. Rather like the way it is done in Mexico.

Simply put, the same anti-enforcement, Socialist, open borders insurgents who were angrily marching on the Capitol earlier this year protesting Georgia’s recently implemented immigration and employment enforcement law (HB 87) with the mindless reasoning that “immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility” are again vehemently howling for an end to … federal enforcement.

To all but the most mindless village thinkers, this should serve as further evidence of the true agenda of the fringe, identity politics specialists.

These characters, including Mexican citizen and former Atlanta Mexican Consul General Teodoro Maus, have proven they are to the left of even Barack Hussein Obama.

No kidding.

The event that was staged Tuesday was aimed directly at Obama, who must at least appear to be enthusiastically enforcing immigration laws in order to preserve his chances at another amnesty should he see a (shudder) second term.

Working on the theory that a picture is worth a thousand words and to get the real sense of the desperation involved, it will help to see the flyers offered up today HERE and HERE threatening President Barack Obama and the press release containing the insurgent’s demands. Try not to laugh out loud. Like I did.

It would save time for all concerned if Teodoro Maus and Co. would shorten their press releases to the real demand: Open borders today, open borders tomorrow and open borders forever.

But it wouldn’t be as much fun to write up…
