For his defiant violation of federal immigration law and the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act of 2006 (GSICA), Gwinnett County Chairman Charles Bannister will be presented with the Dustin Inman Society’s 2008 “un-enforcement un-award” for rewarding countless un-caught illegal aliens with a license to do business in his county.

The “un-award” will be presented by Dustin Inman Society president and community activist D.A. King during the public comments portion of this evening’s Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners meeting, scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM at the Gwinnett County Justice Center.

When: 7PM – Gwinnett Board of Commissioners meeting.
Where: Gwinnett County Justice Center, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30045 770.822.8000

“While brave Border Patrol Agents risk their lives to apprehend illegal border crossers, outraged citizens watch as Bannister performs a variety of verbal and illegal official contortions to grant a local amnesty to illegal aliens who escape capture”, said D.A. King. “The language of the law is unambiguous. Illegal aliens and their handlers staged massive street protests and powerful lobbyists worked tirelessly toward stopping passage of the state law more than two years ago. They clearly understood the spirit and intent”. King observed.

With his recent quote “I don’t know if that’s the law. I don’t know if it’s not the law “’ Bannister, after eighteen years in the Georgia legislature, Bannister seems to be alone in his lack of comprehension not only of the law but of the soaring costs of illegal immigration to the Gwinnett taxpayer” King added.

Named for a sixteen year-old Woodstock, Georgia youth who lost his life to our unsecured borders, The Dustin Inman Society is opposed to illegal immigration and illegal employment. King lobbied in favor of the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act of 2006 at his own expense.
